How-To: Applying Finishes to Wedding Bands
In this video, we’ll walk you through the different types of special finishes, including satin finish, ice finish, stone finish, Florentine finish, and hammer finish.

Tips:
- Be sure to wear safety glasses!
- If you don’t have a lap machine to smooth out the lap areas, sandpaper is a great alternative.
- Hold your line graver as flush as possible, using the previous lines as guides for consistency.
- Polish your hammer in case there is any residue as it will imprint on the ring.
- Measure your ring prior to and after applying the hammer finish as it can stretch up to an additional size up.
