The Best Built Laser Engraver helps you engrave serial numbers as well as the inside and outside of rings, bangles, and pendants — regardless of whether the surface is flat or curved. This machine allows for circumferential engraving, deep engraving, color marking, and photo marking.
The machine comes with MagicArt5 software, designed specifically for the jewelry industry.
Let’s walk through how to use the engraver as well as how to navigate the software.
First, you want to turn on the machine and open up the software.
The Password is ‘zero zero zero zero’.
At this time, the laser will calibrate itself.
In the MagicArt5 Software, Click “File”, “New” then select a template.
From here, you’re going to take a measurement of the piece you’re engraving.
Plug your measurements into the ‘Template Size’ screen.
Now, center your piece in the Engraver.
Make sure the focus points on the laser are in line.
Use the “Focus Up/Focus Down” Buttons on the front of the machine to line up your dots.
Go back to your MagicArt 5 software.
From the ToolBar at the top of the page, select the type tool. Click inside the grey box and type out your text.
Choose the “Select” tool, then center your text using this button in the tool bar.
You can now choose your font and size.
Select “Scan Line Toolpath” on the tool bar.
Select the “Laser” option then select the direction using the drop down. In this example we’re going to use the crosshatch option.
Click “Create Toolpath”.
On the right-hand side of the screen, click on your device.
This is where you control the parameters of the laser, such as power, frequency, speed and repeat count.
Select “Start Engrave” and the Laser Engraving Machine does the rest!
