These files are perfect for any filing work you’re doing at your bench. All of these files are 6 inches, and are a Cut 2.
The half-round ring file is tapered in width and thickness, coming to a point. It’s used when filing the inside of rings.
The Barrete file is tapered, but only the flat side is cut to provide a safe edge and top.
The equaling file is parallel in width and thickness, and is used for filing slots and corners.
The checkering file is parallel in width and gradually tapered in thickness. They’re used for getting a checkered design on a piece.
