With more than 25 years of experience, Stuller’s diamond cutters are trusted with making any piece of jewelry stand the test of time.
Our team at Stuller has trained for years, through apprenticeships with Stuller expert diamond cutters. They’ve also received industry certifications including Graduate Gemologist (GIA) and Certified Gemologist (AGS).
As a diamond cutter I'm able to look at the stone and be able to quickly determine a few types of ways to determine value for the customer. There's certain shapes that's worth more than others so we always try to give the customer the best value back for them and also being able to have a sellable stone.
Those skillsets make our team the most trusted with your pieces, old and new.
i get the stone stored in our database. Each stone has their own individual reference number and then I put it on the OG machine and get the measurements. And then once that's done i'll take it to the microscope and I'll plot all the imperfections in the chips and stuff in it.
Our diamond cutting team works on as many as two dozen stones each day, offering a wide range of services, including diamond repair, re-cutting, and reshaping stones.
While advanced technology is used on the stone, most of the work by our team is done by hand.
Our team does most of the work by hand. You can't take shortcuts, and in this type of work we don't take shortcuts. Just putting a few facets here and there we have to do what's needed to get that stone that the best quality that it is.
