Our basic soldering kit has pretty much everything you need to get started with soldering. It comes with this five-piece acetylene torch kit. The kit has your torch, a six-foot hose, 5 tips, instructions. Conveniently these hoses fit on any standard regulator and you can use them with any fuel or oxygen. Then there's the asbestos free pad made from calcium silicate. It cools quickly but it doesn't crash or crumble. You can pin these, you can drill them, you can shape them to hold your components. These are really great. And then you get red, gold, and blue titanium soldering pics for non-platinum metals. We also include the self pickling hard solder flux for hard soldering on gold silver platinum and also a fluxit dispenser bottle. You get a one pound jar of thermoshield to hold you for quite a long time. This stuff is awesome it really stops the transfer of heat. It adheres to vertical non-absorbent surfaces and even stones so you don't have to remove the stones anymore, you just dab a little bit onto the part you want to protecting a hit with the flame. And then there's the Firescoff Ceramic Flux this access the flux but it also prevents oxidation and scaling and you don't have to use any additional paste or liquid flux with it. And don't forget safety you get this nifty denim apron with pockets on the front.
You won't want to but if you have to you can burn it to reclaim precious metals. This kit comes with a nice sized pickle pot with a basket. it has an electronic torch lighter that operates on batteries. One touch and you've got a spark to light your torch incidentally it's really fun. You get a charcoal soldering block that's soft enough to puncture to hold your soldering work. You get this magnetic torch holder that our customers love. This allows you to keep your torch handy but it has the heavy metal base so it stays in place. The organizer on the base lets you hold your tip so it's really easy to change them in and out. And this is my favorite part. This is the third hand with tweezers. These are six and a half inch tweezers on a heavy base that won't tip over. The articulating ball joints let you position the metal at any angle so it really is like a third hand. and finally you get these curved tip copper tongs that won't corrode or contaminate your your acid or pickling solution. And this is just a starter kit. Of course you can find this in all the equipment you need to build your soldering tool collection on Stuller.com. Check it out today.
