In this video we have a tennis bracelet.  Now it is broken on one of the joints.  It's actually a pot metal so it's not white gold, not platinum, not even silver so we're just going to go ahead laser weld it together.  Going to have to fix it of course but before I fix it I'm going to mark where I'm going to fix it with a sharpie. This goes down the line I don't want to lose my spot. If I happen to drop it I'll know exactly where I started working.  Reattach this link, close it up.  It's going to be a tough part.  Much easier to do this without there we go.  Have another look under here ok.  So I'm going to push this actually underneath this a bit more.  Make sure it's nice and tight you want to have a lot of metal to work with.  Ok now since it's a pot metal I don't know where to start off with so I'm going to start off a low.  Make sure these metals are touching and 220 volts, four milliseconds, 0.6 millimeters, and about four hertz.  Looks about right and got it.  As a filler wire, going to use some sterling silver hard weld. Going to just bridge the gap with the thick wire and build it up just a little more.  Going to bring it in on the other side too.  And there we go.  It's going to take just a little bit of filing down but I'll go shoot the laser welder at an angle to smooth it out a little bit and looks like it's opened up a little bit more of the porosity.  No problem, can fix it right up.  And looks like it hit the stone in the background but didn't do anything.  Ok here we go we've got our tennis bracelet nice and repaired.  Just buff that out at the bottom.
