Episode 5

Behind the Bench

Bench jewelers are the heart of the jewelry industry. One part artist, one part engineer, they are artisans who combine technique and imagination to create beautiful new pieces and repair treasured old ones. The result of their work is both magical and emotional—born out of years of antique restoration, goldsmithing, stone setting, engraving, fabrication, wax carving, lost-wax casting, electroplating, forging, and polishing.

in good company®, Episode 5, goes behind the bench at Stuller’s annual Bench Jeweler Workshop to capture the experience and expertise that goes into the jewel-making process, and how Stuller is inspiring and empowering bench jewelers with the tools, training and technology to help them create “the art of real emotion” in each and every piece.
