Ecommerce Data Feed Tutorials
Now that you have explored our Self Service feature, you are ready to start taking important steps in setting up your site.
Custom feeds (CSV file) can be created based off of Stuller.com items and categories. Once the feed has been processed, you will be able to further filter the feed to obtain the desired products. Please review the directions below for creating and accessing your custom feeds.
- Log into your Stuller.com account and navigate
to the Product Data
Feeds section of My Account.
- Take note of Custom Product Data Feeds.
- Once you are done choosing your settings, please
click Save Feed. You will then be
redirected back to the Product Data Feeds page
and your new feed will now be shown in the
Custom Product Data Feeds section.
- Click Add To A Data Feed.
- Click Process Feed.
- Once the export has processed, click Download Feed.
Here, you will create the “empty shell” for your custom feed. If you would like to include only finished, ready-to-wear pieces in your data feed, click the checkbox labelled "Finished" to add this filter option.
You are now ready to add products to your feed. This can be done at an item level or category level. In this section, we will focus on adding items to the feed on an item level. Adding products is as simple as navigating the site to your desired item. Let’s use item number 123075 as an example.
Once this button is clicked, you have the option to add just the single item or an entire series to a custom feed. For more information on items and series, please refer to the Grouping Items tab.
You are able to confirm the items were added by visiting your Data Exports page, where your export was initially created. You will now see the number of products that have been added to your export, based on your filters. When you are done adding items to the category specific export, you will need to process it.
Note: The average time to process a feed is 3 hours. At times, we will have a high volume of exports being processed, causing the process time to be longer.
Tip: A good way to familiarize yourself with the data would be to open the feed and copy the first SKU listed. Copy the number into the Stuller.com search bar, in the browser of your choosing, and pull up the product page. Now you are easily able to compare the data shown in the data feed with the data that is shown on Stuller.com.

Below you will find information on how to group items (specifically related to dropdown options)
The starting point is to look at items within the same series. The series number is the first part of the SKU. Items in the same Series will have the same descriptive element names. This means that they will have the same options, but not necessarily the same values.
Example: Item 123361:601:P is listed in the static export (and our Product API) with the following descriptive element names in order: Series, Quality, Size, Finish State, and Series Description. In this example, the series number is “123361”. Each item in this series will differ by their descriptive element values.
There are 5 SKUs within series 123361 in the static export. If you look at their descriptive element values, they only differ by metal quality. You can see how we have a dropdown a stuller.com that allows you to change the metal quality from any item’s (within this series) product page to navigate to the other SKUs in the series.
The items in this series also allow you to do exact ring sizing, which is a configuration to the product itself (the SKU remains the same).
