Why Use the CSV data feeds?

  • It contains all of Stuller's ready-to-wear products.
  • You can use filters to display only the items you want to stock.
  • You can add a price multiplier to get retail pricing in your data feed.

Because we care about your success, we want you to know that creating an e-commerce website can be a worthwhile but very extensive task. Please consider the following questions to make sure you are aware of the components needed to make your website successful.

  • What are your initial and long-term goals with your website? Are you looking to only gain an online presence, or do you intend on this being a large source of your revenue?
  • Who is going to maintain the website?
  • Will you be hiring an outside web designer/developer for assistance? If you have a developer with e-commerce experience, have they worked with jewelry products? Selling jewelry online can be much different than more traditional e-commerce sites such as apparel.
  • Do you have a marketing plan in place?
  • What metrics are you interested in tracking?
  • What reporting tools will you use to track this?

Beyond the products you are selling online, you should have a plan for

Choosing Your Website Platform

  • Top platforms include Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Magento.
  • Stuller is not directly compatible with any specific platform. Regardless of what platform you choose, you will need to massage the data we provide so that it meets your needs.

Product Selection

  • Merchandised Inventory - it is not feasible or advised to attempt reselling thousands of products.
  • Finished products are easier to list than customizable products.
  • We suggest you make the data more end-consumer friendly. The data Stuller provides is the same data you would see for a product on Stuller.com. This is written for a jeweler's eyes. We recommend you translate this to consumer-friendly titles/descriptions when listing on your website.

Overall Site Design & Experience

  • It should be intuitive to find products either through categories/subcategories, or search functionality.
  • Product page layout: being able to easily locate relevant product specifications and the option to add to cart is important to your success.
  • The Cart and Checkout pages should be made as simple as possible.
  • Will your customer be required to create an account on your website to make a purchase?
