Stuller enlists industry veteran to join management

Craig Race to head bridal merchandising division

Lafayette, LA (18 March 2010) – Stuller, Inc. has announced the hire of Craig Race, a 35-year industry veteran, as its new bridal jewelry vice president, reinforcing the DTC Sightholder’s commitment to enhanced product development and merchandising. Race began his tenure on March 15.

“With Craig’s combined 35 years of retail and jewelry manufacturing experience, I am excited to have him join our team,” says Harold Dupuy, chief merchandising officer. “I am confident that his professional merchandising experience, especially in bridal jewelry, will serve us well and I look forward to his future contributions.”

Prior to Stuller, Race served as vice president, merchandising at Goldstar Jewellery, a DTC Sightholder in New York. In addition to Goldstar Jewellery, Race also had a 6-year stint at SDC Designs and spent 2 years with LID, Ltd both of which are also located in New York.

The DTC Sightholder also announced a restructured management alignment in order to enhance its focus on new products and merchandising initiatives.

Race’s responsibilities will include providing vision, direction and product leadership for Stuller’s bridal product segment, including all activities associated with bridal product development, merchandising and marketing.

Stuller, Inc. is headquartered in Lafayette, LA and was founded by Matthew Stuller in 1970. The DTC Sightholder has nine operations located on three continents around the world, and provides a wide range of goods and services for jewelry professionals. Stuller’s core product categories include: diamonds, gemstones, finished jewelry, mountings, findings, bridal jewelry, tools and supplies, and customized jewelry.
