Are you ready for today's consumers? Right now, it's all about innovation. Consumer attitudes, beliefs, and purchasing behaviors are shifting. Where can a shopper go to receive the highest level of customer experience AND walk away with a piece of jewelry that's unique to them? Tall order to deliver.
HOW CAN YOU BE DIFFERENT?
In-house printing and design is a game changer. To be successful, you need the right supplies for the job. The right resin makes all the difference. What type is best for your 3D printer? And we're here to help. This article will explore Stuller's Asiga® and Open Grow™ resins.
Open Grow™ Spectrum HD
Spectrum HD is compatible with a full range of open source DHP and SLA 3D printers, producing smooth surfaces and exceptionally fine detail such as milgrain, micro-prongs, and filigree. Its low expansion and clean burning pattern make it ideal for direct casting. It starts out purple and turns golden tan when dry. Available exclusively from Stuller.
ASIGA® SUPERCAST HD
This is a casting material for gold alloys. It introduced Asiga's unique nano-technology that achieves remarkable surface smoothness and detail definition. Use this superior resolution direct casting material for gypsum jewelry investments.
ASIGA® FUSION GRAY
Use this high-temperature material - resistant up to 160 degrees Celsius/320 degrees Fahrenheit - to produce durable vulcanized rubber molds. FrusionGRAY achieves excellent surface detail,so it's perfect to use as master model material for mold making.
ASIGA® SUPERCAST V3
This is Asiga’s highest casting material for gold alloys. It is fast printing, durable, and casts under normal burnout conditions. It works best with gypsum investment.
ASIGA® SUPERWAX™
Direct casting resin for platinum and gold alloys is the only 3D printer polymer that melts like wax at a melting temperature of 50 degrees Celsius/122 degrees Fahrenheit. SuperWAX produces super smooth surfaces with no postprocessing before treeing. It’s suitable for both phosphate and gypsum investments.
OPEN GROW™ CERAMIC MASTER
Ceramic Master is for modeling only and is compatible with a full range of open-source DHP and SLA 3D printers. Models have a strong, durable matrix that polishes to a mirror finish. With its high-yield heat threshold, Ceramic Master works well with most vulcanized silicone rubber and all silicone RTV mold materials. Available exclusively from Stuller.
