At Stuller, tools are a top priority. Because in order to achieve the best results, you have to have the right tools and materials for the job. And making sure your shop has the best is what we do. We scour the globe to source the latest technology and greatest enhancements in tools, equipment and machinery, and bring them back to Lafayette where we put them through the ringer to make sure they measure up to standard.
We’ve had to adjust our strategies a bit as we make the new normal our reality. This has not only altered our sourcing techniques, but also our vendor meetings and tradeshows. But the show must go on, right?
The journey of a new tool begins with you - our customer. At the source of everything we do, our customers drive our change. We strive to be better for you. And that’s how we approach adding new tools to our offering.
RECOGNIZE GAPS IN ASSORTMENT
With your help and the help of our experienced tech team, we’re able to spot the gaps in our assortments. We examine which tools we’re missing, and which would make good additions to our existing lines.
ON THE HUNT
Once we understand what we’re looking for, we can begin our search a few different ways. Often this means going to tradeshows and other industry events to look for items and test the latest products to hit the market. The biggest three shows for tools are Vicenza, Hong Kong, and JCK Las Vegas. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking for, you’ll find it at one of those.
Other times, we’re reaching out directly to our vendors and working closely with them to acquire exclusive tools and supplies. If something catches our team’s eyes, we request a sample be delivered to our headquarters for testing. Once we’ve thoroughly tested the items in house and ensured their quality, we bring them in as a Stuller tried and tested product.
PARTNERSHIPS
Often, vendors reach out to us looking to place their tools. They’re looking for a reputable company with high-quality standards. The Ring Rescue was introduced to Stuller this way.
Sometimes, we have the privilege of offering our customers a product exclusively for a time, like the DiaTrue Mobile.

Even though sourcing tools and supplies looks a little different, we’re still working to bring you the very best.
