PRESS RELEASE

Stuller, Inc. provides Bridge into the Future for jewelry storeowners

Manufacturer to host nine events designed to increase retailer profitability

Lafayette, LA (31 January 2011) – Stuller recently announced plans for nine conferences for jewelry storeowners throughout 2011 at its global headquarters in Lafayette, LA.

“The Bridge conference program features merchandising and technology innovations designed to bridge the gap from today into tomorrow for independent retailers,” says Kerry Hand, executive director of marketing. “We view our retailers as partners and realize the best way to serve their growing needs is to expand opportunities to spend time collaborating with them. For example, one of our very popular educational seminars is on adapting to change, which has been a central theme for anyone running a jewelry retail business in the last three years.”

Each three-day conference will encourage independent retailers to become tomorrow’s jeweler by taking the necessary steps to be profitable, be connected and move their businesses forward into the future with the latest merchandising and technology solutions.

Steve Taylor of York Jewelry in York, NE shares his experience from a prior Stuller conference.

“For the first time in my 26 years of this great business, I felt totally comfortable at the event. No egos, no gamesmanship, no push, just genuine concern for the future of the industry,” says Taylor.

Bridge will feature four, highly interactive educational sessions covering emerging industry technologies such as CounterSketch Studio, virtual selling tools, newly developed prototype selling systems and other point-of-sale merchandise. In addition to the educational sessions, guests will be treated to a digital exhibit area for hands-on and instructive demonstrations.

Guests will also enjoy keynotes from notable industry professionals including National Jeweler Magazine publisher Chris Casey and editor-in-chief Whitney Sielaff, JCK Magazine publisher Mark Smelzer and Instore Magazine publisher Dan Kisch.

“Traditional paradigms in the jewelry business are no longer bringing the same results,” says Matt Stuller, president, founder and CEO. “Our objective is to have storeowners and their guests leave each Bridge event energized, educated and inspired to use the solutions presented to them to overcome the difficult challenges they face every day.”
